Are units from UCSB accepted?

Response from Catherine Machado:

Most credits completed at UCSB can be used to meet minimum credit requirements for the Cuesta College Associate degrees, and to transfer to the CSU and UC as an upper division student.

To determine if the courses you completed at UCSB will fulfill specific degree/transfer requirements, you will need to have your transcripts evaluated.  In order to have your transcripts evaluated, please have OFFICIAL copies of your high school and all college transcripts sent WELL IN ADVANCE to

Admission and Records Office
Cuesta College
PO Box 8106
San Luis Obispo, CA 93403-8106

Once you are sure they have arrived, make a counseling appointment to have your transcripts evaluated.

To make an appointment with a counselor, call 805-546-3138 or 805-546-3162 on Monday mornings starting at 8:30am for an appointment the following week.  Be advised that counseling appointments fill up quickly and the Cuesta College campus is closed on Fridays throughout the summer.
